The city of Ponce, the second largest in Puerto Rico outside of the San Juan metropolitan area is named for Juan Ponce de Leon y loayza, the great-grandson of Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce De Leon. I like Ponce because i was born in there.Ponce is on the southern coast of Puerto Rico.
